Millennial Students’ Perception on The Integration of Islam and Science in Islamic Universities

چکیده

This study describes students' perception of the concept integration Islam and science. The religious knowledge into science learning means elimination paradigm separating religion. is important because many students do not understand how to connect scientific theories studied their own beliefs. research surveys 175 from 4 Islamic universities in Indonesia. respondents filled an online questionnaire containing 8 two-tiered questions based on 7 conceptual understanding indicators measure students’ of: (1) Science; (2) relationship between religion (Islam); (3) effect religion; (4) influence insights learning; (5) role development/advancement science; (6) conflict (7) differences concepts developed by Muslim non-Muslim scientists. result shows that can be categorized as integration. They argue has a development science, supporting sustainability life. also conceive lecturer's insight have process, especially Biology course.
